Have you been harboring a hole in your soul for the last couple of years that only a new album from Little Boots can fill? Then prepare for July 10, when the third LP from the British artiste formerly known as Victoria Hesketh makes its way into an eagerly waiting world. Last week we got a brief glimpse of what was in store when the Working Girl album’s preceding single, the title track, was shared. Its infectious, disco-bumping groove augured well for what’s to come. And now, another single from Working Girl has reared its head.
“No Pressure” bears a significantly different feel from the preceding single while still offering Little Boots’ signature melodic — but still eminently danceable — brand of synth-swathed late-night dance-pop.
The album finds her working with a host of estimable artists and producers, including Ariel Rechtshaid, Grades and Simian Mobile Disco‘s Jas Shaw. But for those who can’t wait until July, if you pre-order Working Girl now, you’ll get immediate access to the tracks “No Pressure” and “Better in the Morning.”
Take note that a U.S. tour will commence hot on the heels of the album release.
