2017 Rewind: Greencross

greencross

How was 2017 for you?
Greencross: It was the best for me year professionally speaking [knocks on wood]. This year I’ve launched alma.audio, a company that helps artists and people launch and maintain record labels. I’ve had the pleasure to help friends like Paula Cazenave, DJ Murphy and Gayle San successfully launch and run their labels, freeing them from the intrincate work of label management.

Highlights?
Musically speaking it has been a great year for my label, Different Is Different Records. Finally we got to sign an old friend that was long overdue on our label: Funk D’Void and his remix for Ken Ishii’s “Malfunction Manipulation.” That’s after receiving the great news of Ken’s decision to sign his next original to the label. I also managed to finish my own remix of “Malfunction Manipulation,” which will be the last of the three tracks for this single release. We also discovered great new artists like Ejwt, Black Tetra, Alout, Mooz and more! Also in December we presented our first label night in Austria with Tom Hades!

Lowlights?
Pretty much it has been all great. Besides the inevitable deaths of people I was very fond of and the draconian system that rules the earth and its inhabitants, enslaving us and stripping us from any human trait we were given at birth. But that’s life I guess.

Song of the year?
Sascha Zastiral – “Utopia” (Original Mix)

What’s your New Year’s resolution?
I never make one! But my resolution every day is to make the best for tomorrow with what I have today.

2017 Rewind: Rehmark

Rehmark

How was 2017 for you?
Rehmark: It was a very good year. I achieved very important goals. There were also important gigs, and changes in my career. My radio program is very successful and very soon we will launch the label. In conclusion, it has been a year of deep changes.

Highlights?
I released music on great labels, such as Off Recordings and Truesoul, which has made my music go on another level being played by artists such as Adam Beyer and Carlo Lio.

Lowlights?
The feeling of wanting to improve my sound and productions and realizing that sometimes I can’t capture and express the sound I have in my mind.

Song of the year?
Inigo Kennedy – “Voyager”

What’s your New Year’s resolution?
Be true to myself and to my way of understanding music. Learn every day a little more to love my work.

2017 Rewind: Grazze

grazze

How was 2017 for you?
Grazze: 2017 was a transitional year in my career. I made changes in my sound, and therefore in my artistic objectives, trying to reach a more elegant line. It’s helping me to reinvent myself and prepare for what is coming on 2018.

Highlights?
My last releases on Universal Spain, Sirup Music and Eton Messy and my new radio show, Sounds of Grazze, on Loca FM.

Lowlights?
All difficulties implied by changes. In my case, to define my new musical line.

Song of the year?
Nora En Pure & Sons of Maria – Uruguay (EDX’s Dubai Skyline Remix)

What’s your New Year’s resolution?
To release much more music of the best quality and spread my creations worldwide.
