Winter is coming! Known for playing the gentle, linguistically challenged giant Hodor from the House of Stark on HBO’s Game of Thrones, Irish actor Kristian Nairn has actually been working as a DJ for a number of years as we revealed last year. In August the multi-hyphenate will embark on a six-city DJ tour of Australia celebrating his music and George RR Martin’s cherished novel and TV series.
Dubbed Rave of Thrones, each date on the tour will features Nairn on the decks and will have a mandatory GoT dress-up theme. Who in their right mind could pass up the chance to dress up like Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister or Theon “Reek” Greyjoy?
Nairn is a real-deal DJ, so don’t expect him to turn up with Bran Stark strapped to his back. Each gig is sure to rock all Seven Kingdoms.
Game of Thrones visuals will be provided by Ego on the tour. Rave Of Thrones’ Australian tour are as follows:
28/8/14 – The Hi-Fi, Sydney
29/8/14 – Secret Warehouse, Brisbane
30/8/14 – Villa, Perth
4//9/14 – Prince Bandroom, Melbourne
5/9/14 – Discovery, Darwin
7/9/14 – Zhivago, Adelaide
