Free MP3: Datarock / “California” (Ralph Myerz Remix)
Apr 25th, 2011 | By Darren Ressler | Category: Free MP3sHere at Big Shot we’ve been big fans of Norwegian party rockers Datarock since they dropped their ubiquitous 2005 smash “Fa-Fa-Fa.” In 2009 we had the multi-member group on the cover of Issue 28, and we’ve been closely monitoring the buildup to the release of their latest “Catcher In the Rye” single issued on a way-cool limited-edition USB toy containing 110 tracks, 1,500 photos taken at the band’s shows in 33 countries, 20 music videos, a brand new hour-long concert film, a remix compilation, the new album Music For Synchronization as well as lots of B-sides and unreleased material.
After a successful U.S. tour in March, Datarock’s new California EP (below watch Rock Steady Freddy explain the band’s same-named, upcoming musical that is coincidentally about a Norwegian band coming to America) has arrived featuring a surprisingly wobbly remix by Erlend Sellevold (who is known for his work as Ralph Myerz). Download this exclusive world premiere of Datarock’s “California” (Ralph Myerz Remix) and enjoy.
