How was 2018 for you?
2018 was a really good year for me. A lot more focus, a lot more work and less partying. It has been the busiest year gig wise, more successful with my music, line-ups – bigger parties. Everything has just been bigger and better this year. It’s a lot more serious now with the label and headlining more shows, so I’ve seen things change and it’s a little bit more serious but I’m still enjoying it just as much.
I’ve got so many. Getting back into the U.S. for me was amazing, I’ve done two or three tours so far in the last six months. I loved playing back in New York and playing at the Brooklyn Mirage was fantastic. I also played Club Space, Miami for the first time ever this year. Another highlight is my FourThirtyTwo parties. The weekend I’ve just done was amazing we took the parties to Digital, Newcastle and E1, London, which was my favorite ever FourThirtyTwo party. I also took FourThirtyTwo to Watergate. Ibiza this year was really cool for me. I closed the terrace at DC10 for Paradise B2B Jamie Jones B2B Patrick Topping; we were all together headlining Paradise for the first time. Another highlight was being one of the headline acts at Elrow Town. I love doing all the nights at Elrow, that’s been amazing. Closing Ushuaia with Andrea Olivia with 10,000 people – I dropped this Bob Sinclar edit and we got a sit down, the whole audience erupted! Also, the two-day closing for Keep On Dancing at Pikes, Ibiza, it’s a non-stop party right at the end of summer. Then I’ve done lots of other festivals. Plenty of highlights to choose from.
Sometimes when I get to the airport at 7:30 and I’ve done seven gigs in a week and have no time. But that’s the job, I just accept it. I don’t want to dwell on lows, so it just depends how you look at it, what is a low? That’s not my vibe.
Song of the year?

What’s your New Year’s resolution?
To have more discipline and to try to get really fit and healthy. I started last year. I’m more fit and healthy than I was the year before but I want to take it to another level. And stop smoking too!
