Last we heard from Detroit techno icon Kevin Saunderson he was a wee bit angry at Italian duo Supernova for sampling his track “The Sound.” Fortunately things were amicably resolved — doesn’t everyone like a happy ending? — and Saunderson has carried on. Known for his classic techno and house tracks, Saunderson continues to look to the future. He’s on tour this summer as a solo artist and with Derrick May as Hi Tek Soul, and he’s also relaunched Inner City and Octave One. Saunderson just dropped this phenomenal mix on us. We’re not exactly sure where it was recorded, but the man known as The Elevator truly delivers the goods. There’s no tracklisting yet, but that shouldn’t stop you from downloading this sweet mix.
