How was 2009 for you?
Jared Bell: Overall, it’s been a great success: new president, new record (Shutter Release), and new city (we’ve relocated to New York City).
Highlights?
Touring with Broken Social Scene and The Books. Both of these bands were really influential to the way we listen to and create music. It was an honor to meet them, hang out and share the stage with them.
Lowlights?
Metrocard fare increase. John Hughes, Ted Kennedy and Patrick Swayze.
What’s your New Year’s resolution?
We hope to have another record finished by the new year’s end.
