Will.I.Am Accused of Stealing FrankMusik’s Track

He tapped David Guetta to produce “I Gotta Feeling” on the Peas’ latest album, The E.N.D., and his solo album was filled with house beats and grooves. Earlier this year, Adam Freeland accused the Peas of lifting “Mancry” and using it prominently in the Peas’ dance anthem “Party All the Time.” Now Will.i.am & Co. have been accused of taking another musician’s tune and Perez “The Queen of All Media” Hilton — who got into a fight with the lead Pea earlier this year — is gushing about it. Perez quotes a tweet from musician/producer FrankMusik: “OK SO Cheryl Cole ft Will.i.am – Boy Like You IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF OF A TRACK I DID FOUND HERE!”

A similar use of Fleetwood Mac’s “Little Lies” is pretty evident to our ears. What do you think?






Seems like more of a PR stunt by FM than anything else. Both songs sample Fleetwood Mac and put a different spin on it. As for the matter with Freeland, well, that’s quite another matter.
